Accounting Specialist (m/w/d)
 

Independent and timely posting of all ongoing business transactions (incoming and outgoing invoices, bank and cash postings, monthly payroll entries, and other booking processes in the general and subsidiary ledgers) for multiple companies

Managing subsidiary ledgers (accounts receivable, accounts payable, and fixed assets), including reconciliation with the general ledger

Executing monthly depreciation runs

Preparing, creating, and submitting VAT returns

Account reconciliation and support/preparation of monthly and annual financial statements

Acting as a contact person for tax advisors, auditors, authorities, and external controlling

Executing payment transactions

Carrying out dunning runs

Serving as a contact for internal inquiries in the field of financial accounting

Preparing and submitting various statistical reports

Maintaining master data in the accounting software

Posting inventory changes and reconciling financial accounting with inventory management

Completed commercial training (e.g., Industrial Clerk or a comparable qualification)

Optional: additional qualification as Certified Balance Sheet Accountant (IHK) or Tax Clerk (m/f/d)

Solid knowledge of financial accounting (at least 5 years, ideally in a manufacturing company)

Confident use of accounting software (ideally MS Dynamics/Business Central or eGecko) and strong IT affinity

Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel)

Good knowledge of VAT law

Independent, structured, and precise working style

Discretion, reliability, and a strong sense of responsibility
